Local Welsh Lamb
Welsh Lambs are bred by generations of families on the
abundant grasslands of Wales. For over 30 years, we have continuously
sourced our Welsh Lamb from the same local farmer in Tretower, just
outside of Crickhowell. The lambs reared by the Wright family freely
roam and enjoy the luscious green pastures underneath the Black
Mountains. We also source Welsh lambs from the local farmer's market
from January to May whilst waiting for the new season lambs.
All of these have a Protected Geographic Indication (PGI) status that guarantees the lambs are born, reared and fattened in Wales. The flocks are Lleyn grass-fed, free-range and slowly matured.
