These succulent handmade cocktail sausages are specially made for those with a gluten intolerance. They’re ideal for serving with the Christmas dinner, or for parties and buffets, and always go down very well with kids. We make them to the same meaty recipe as our Gluten-free Traditional Pork Sausages. So we use only hand-trimmed cuts of British pork: mostly shoulder and leg, and no squeaky bits. And we mince the meat twice for an even consistency, seasoning it with a hint of leek and onion and our special blend of warming spices.
Because our gluten-free sausages are preservative free, we supply them frozen to ensure you receive them at their very best. Simply defrost in the fridge overnight before cooking. If left defrosted for more than two days, the sausages may start to lose their pink colour due to the lack of preservatives. This doesn’t affect the taste or texture, but they may look less appealing, so it’s best to use them promptly, as with any defrosted food.
