Mont D’Or Napiot (500g)


Mont D’Or Napiot is a seasonal French cheese, only available in the autumn and winter months. It’s made high in the Jura Mountains, home of our fabulous Comté cheese, and it uses raw milk from the same grass-fed Montbéliarde and French Simmental cows. But whereas Comté is firm and nutty, Mont D’Or is a gloriously runny indulgence – rich and voluptuously creamy, with subtle resinous notes from the spruce-bark binding. And forget the cheese knife: for this one you’ll need a spoon. Made with animal rennet.
