Alambra Halloumi is a quality PDO halloumi cheese made the traditional way in Cyprus, using a blend of pasteurised cows’ sheep’s and goats’ milk. The original “squeaky cheese”, this firm but creamy halloumi is comes bathed in brine with just a hint of mint for freshness. Delicious grilled, fried or barbecued, in salads or on burgers. Or try grating a generous helping over homemade moussaka before baking, for extra richness and a subtle salty tang. Suitable for vegetarians.
